Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Atlético da Colina booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Ludvigsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético da Colina's Léo Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Edmundo Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertram Svenningsen scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natã Gerber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Mikkel Wulff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natã Gerber was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Denmark's attentive Chris Nygaard managed to snatch the ball when Faustão Moreira made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. The referee ignored Atlético da Colina's protests and gave Faustão Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquim Massa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Keld Paulsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético da Colina's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natã Gerber came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Natã Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikkel Wulff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natã Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natã Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natã Gerber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Natã Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute Joaquim Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Atlético da Colina getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hernani Mello hit a great ball. Atlético da Colina's Yan Moura was substituted for Joaquim Massa. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 61 minutes, Rafael Paraíba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético da Colina and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Denmark made a substitution. Mikkel Damsgaard replaced Mathias Ludvigsen. In the 63rd minute, Rafael Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Lars Steen in the 63rd minute really tested Natã Gerber's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Rafael Paraíba made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Natã Gerber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 88th minute. Mikkel Damsgaard kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Natã Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
