An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 6th minute of play forced Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Natã Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natã Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 9th minute of play. England were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Atlético da Colina's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Micah Macdonald took the corner. The corner led England's Micah Macdonald to fire away a dangerous shot which Natã Gerber despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Natã Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Atlético da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Mello. Micah Macdonald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of England booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Paulo Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Micah Macdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Cordeiro during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Atlético da Colina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Micah Macdonald took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natã Gerber. Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 33 played minutes Atlético da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Trancoso. When Caelan Hayes came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caelan Hayes couldn't finish the play. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Natã Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Ferreira in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Atlético da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Mello. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Atlético da Colina made a substitution. Rafael Paraíba replaced Léo Maciel. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Cox stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Moura in the 53rd minute of play. Atlético da Colina's Natã Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 58th minute of play. If Issac Dawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlético da Colina's Natã Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético da Colina from getting a goal against them. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Natã Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, England's Kyle Cox made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natã Gerber was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, Issac Dawson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Natã Gerber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Issac Dawson made a precise shot to the right of Natã Gerber. Atlético da Colina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Rafael Paraíba hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Silvério de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético da Colina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 90th minute, Kyle Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvério de Senna hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. England played a much better game than Atlético da Colina and deserved their victory. The Atlético da Colina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
