Roberto De Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Dal Bello in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Marcelo Dal Bello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Keld Paulsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guando floripa F.C's Roberto De Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mathias Ludvigsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Dal Bello's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Juan Olivar hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Marco de Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Marco de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 47 minutes of play, Denmark's Chris Nygaard made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto De Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Denmark were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rui Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 70 in the game by Chris Nygaard from a close distance when the talented Roberto De Lima managed to make a qualified save. Guando floripa F.C's players were relieved. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Theis Winther hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Chris Nygaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Guando floripa F.C defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto De Lima. The Guando floripa F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto De Lima should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Denmark had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
