Major Barna scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Seguinus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szekeres Tamas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Gelu Lelescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fodor Daniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ASF BAIA MARE -MM- reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Eduard Semeghin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Bogdan Udrişte sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Bogdan Udrişte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduard Semeghin's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Bogdan Udrişte sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sever Tilincă hit a great ball. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Andrei Zeciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. Remus Cazan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
51 minutes into the match, Eduard Semeghin notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Major Barna took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Seguinus. Rosendo Seguinus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Rosendo Seguinus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Semeghin came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gelu Lelescu in the 77th minute. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gelu Lelescu took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hungary's goalie and right to Bogdan Udrişte. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hungary's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 80 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Udrişte came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rosendo Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Semeghin in the 85th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Semeghin came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were furious when Sever Tilincă was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 95 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Sever Tilincă. In the 96th minute, Antal Valentin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus didn't even have to move. Hungary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
