Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Peletier made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Venceslao in the 4th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ferruccio Scevola sped through France's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Remy Dupuy managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Remy Dupuy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amos Colagrossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaston Venceslao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Scevola in the 22nd minute of the match. Amos Colagrossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Scevola in the 26th minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Max Magnus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Robert Chapuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes, SSC Meno Male's Marcial Meder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maxime Durand came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SSC Meno Male reached it. Amos Colagrossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Venceslao got free with Maxime Durand in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Peletier struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Amos Colagrossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Venceslao in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 39th minute of play forced SSC Meno Male's goalkeeper Amos Colagrossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amos Colagrossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferruccio Scevola to make the kick off. The supporters of France booed when SSC Meno Male was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Benoit Van hoegaerde in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. After 67 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Maxence Durand. When Marcial Meder came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SSC Meno Male fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Meder couldn't finish the play. Ferruccio Scevola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ferruccio Scevola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Ferruccio Scevola put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maxime Durand. France's Remy Dupuy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Benoit Van hoegaerde in the 84 minute of the game. In the 84th match minute, SSC Meno Male was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Meder to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ferruccio Scevola put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maxime Durand. The audience was convinced that Ferruccio Scevola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SSC Meno Male fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
