Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Ferdinand Vrejiu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Filip Braia made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. 10 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Odobescu came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Bădilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Odobescu in the 17th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC PIETROSUL -MM- were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Italy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferdinand Vrejiu took the corner. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Bădilescu having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurel Teodoroiu. In the 47th minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Aurel Teodoroiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristi Ciprian was substituted for Aurel Teodoroiu. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristi Ciprian to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Filip Braia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gomberto Picozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ferdinand Vrejiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Vittori. Italy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ionică Bădilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 61st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Italy's Ionică Bădilescu threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 64th minute, Cristi Ciprian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 74 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Siricio Liotta. After a defensive mix-up in FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s zone, Siricio Liotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Bădilescu came out of the goal and Siricio Liotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Ionică Bădilescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Costin Pupăzan's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Pupăzan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Pupăzan to maneuver through the defense. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Bădilescu having to interfere. With 91 minutes on the clock, Felix Codin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Siricio Liotta shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Guiscardo Davide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionică Bădilescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Curto, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
