To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrzej Bielenda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Flota Świnoujście's Lucjan Dziuma. But to his dismay, Lucjan Dziuma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrzej Bielenda was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 42nd match minute, MKS Flota Świnoujście was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Dziuma to maneuver through the defense. Andrzej Bielenda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertram Svenningsen's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucjan Dziuma to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to MKS Flota Świnoujście getting a freekick after 50 minutes play.
