Igor Gašpar's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Gašpar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd minute, Igor Gašpar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the match, Feyenoord Malinovo's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Rastislav Duch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Feyenoord Malinovo's Dávid Mojžiš. But to his dismay, Dávid Mojžiš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gustaw Pawelczyk sent off a good shot on target. Feyenoord Malinovo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Németh in the 10th minute. The corner ended in Peter Németh almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. 11 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Pawelczyk came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Németh in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Dávid Zachar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Feyenoord Malinovo's Rastislav Duch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 18th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Németh in the 24th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Dávid Zachar sent off a good shot on target. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feyenoord Malinovo's Rastislav Duch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Dávid Mojžiš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bas Tuitert kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dávid Mojžiš, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Rastislav Duch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Peter Németh reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnout Reekers. The goal made the score 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaw Pawelczyk was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Pawelczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Németh came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dávid Zachar in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Feyenoord Malinovo booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Wilmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Németh came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feyenoord Malinovo made a substitution. Eugen Zoch replaced Gustaw Pawelczyk. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dávid Mojžiš, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Rastislav Duch made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rastislav Duch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Feyenoord Malinovo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Netherlands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
