Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cengizhan Baycan's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cengizhan Baycan got free with Wilson Amorim in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Cactos's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Bran Allison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Cengizhan Baycan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Alberigo Palomba fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cactos's protests and gave Alberigo Palomba a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Alberigo Palomba got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bran Allison saved Cactos from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 23rd minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bran Allison. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Cactos's Bran Allison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Trezeguet came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bran Allison was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Viriato Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Portugal booed when Cactos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gary Petrie didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Cactos's Wilson Amorim threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cengizhan Baycan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Cengizhan Baycan made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 55th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cengizhan Baycan went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengizhan Baycan in the 68th minute of play. Cactos were furious when Nando Leal was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Cactos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Portugal:s goal. Daniel Pimentel scored 3-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bran Allison, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisinho Maciel went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. Cactos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Bartolomeu Dias scored to the left of an out of position Bran Allison, making the score, 5-5. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Daniel Pimentel hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Gaitan in the 95th minute of the match. Luisinho Maciel scored 6-5 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
