Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 8 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's Alf Säfström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vavrinec Holub narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute Erik Jilek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Pete Sampras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAFFIAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Pete Sampras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Pete Sampras made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Vincent Linberg took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Vincent Linberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pete Sampras in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pete Sampras did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Vavrinec Holub 34 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Denis Dostal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the MAFFIAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Denis Dostal was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Dostal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pete Sampras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46thth minute of the game Alex Vallin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Jilek to make the kick off. Erik Jilek hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Sampras in the 55th minute of play. With his leg Aron Dahlbom managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Czech Republic's Erik Jilek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Pete Sampras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Mats Wilander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MAFFIAN's Kristoffer Nyberg was substituted for Alf Säfström. MAFFIAN's Ragnar Törnkvist was substituted for Alex Vallin. After having played for 69 minutes, Erik Jilek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Jilek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Börje Frisk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes, Alan Rezek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the MAFFIAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Rezek to maneuver through the defense. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Linberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Pete Sampras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, MAFFIAN's Vincent Linberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Jilek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bohumir Kohout didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ragnar Törnkvist in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the MAFFIAN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
