Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Omar Toledo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Jon Cubero. Carpathians's Matei Răducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Omar Toledo made a precise shot to the right of Matei Răducu. Carpathians's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matei Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Aranda in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matei Răducu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Ascaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Dobay went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Dobay in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes Spain's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Connor Hughes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Connor Hughes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Ascaso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matei Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 41st minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Carpathians's Connor Hughes got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Omar Toledo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carpathians's Matei Răducu didn't even have to move. Stefan Dobay might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Ascaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Dobay ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Dobay in the 60th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Dobay in the 64th minute of the match. Matei Răducu made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Omar Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Constantin Bot kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Spain made a substitution. Carles Cherro replaced Omar Toledo. In the 70th minute, Mădălin Lipan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matei Răducu made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Aranda in the 77th minute. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Dobay, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Stefan Dobay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Ascaso was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 85th minute of the match Carpathians got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After having played for 94 minutes, Sergio Ruiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Ruiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
