In the 13th minute, Hegedus Henrik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maciej Wieck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Dayne's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Maciej Wieck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Maciej Wieck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 24th minute of play forced Dayne's goalkeeper Maciej Wieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dayne's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Asım Arif Durak in the 34th minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Dayne's Ceyhun Evvah slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-3 after 37 minutes of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Selmi Reis to make the kick off. Hungary played a much better game than Dayne and deserved their victory. The Dayne players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
