The supporters of FC Pegasas Siauliai booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee showed Artemio Quiroga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artemio Quiroga hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Caetano Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pavel Romanescu. FC Pegasas Siauliai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Pavel Romanescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 26th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Dropinski in the 28th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Dropinski in the 29th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Artemio Quiroga sent off a good shot on target. The referee ignored FC Pegasas Siauliai's protests and gave Juras Tolvaiša a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Pegasas Siauliai fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Pavel Romanescu, was totally fooled by Portugal's Felipe Barreto, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miromir Bilicki struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Pavel Romanescu made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. Pavel Romanescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Pavel Romanescu made a huge save. Portugal's Faustino Almeida was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pavel Romanescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pavel Romanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 97th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
