A very nice done corner allowed Alexander Palmer to score against Wilson Amorim in Portugal's goal. 1-0 after 8 minutes. In the 10th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Growlithe FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. Bernabe Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 33rd minute of play. Bernabe Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Pimentel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernabe Armani having to make a save. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Growlithe FC's Bernabe Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Growlithe FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Fabricio Andrade drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Growlithe FC's goalkeeper. Ahmet Baki Ulualp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute, Alexander Palmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Growlithe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Ahmet Baki Ulualp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Growlithe FC's Barış Ziya was substituted for Alexander Palmer. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barış Ziya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Almeida hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Faustino Almeida from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Bernabe Armani's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barış Ziya, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Bernabe Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Barış Ziya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
