Davis Duff ran over to the corner to take the kick. Reese Otto came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chicão Peixoto could save by the left post. After having played for 11 minutes, Davis Duff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davis Duff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chicão Peixoto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reese Otto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Zamalek FC's Davis Duff slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chicão Peixoto. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Gato Preto FC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Paulo Renato Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Davis Duff in the 25th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Chicão Peixoto's left hand side. After 26 minutes, Reese Otto made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Reese Otto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Davis Duff got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reese Otto to make the kick off. Chicão Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reese Otto went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Reese Otto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão Peixoto was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Zamalek FC's Fred Kirkpatrick got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Henrique in the 57th minute of play. After 61st play minutes Reese Otto shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Chicão Peixoto and just under the crossbar into goal. Zamalek FC's Leon Posadzki was substituted for Reese Otto. Chicão Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Posadzki's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Posadzki in the 80th minute of play. Chicão Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Posadzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Leon Posadzki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zamalek FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Posadzki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chicão Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Posadzki in the 94th minute of the match. Zamalek FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
