In the 51st match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Fransson to maneuver through the defense. AA Bełchatów were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after AIF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dadá do Nascimento took the corner. In the 69th minute, Ryszard Przewozik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AA Bełchatów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After taking down the ball on AA Bełchatów's corner Dadá do Nascimento fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarl Andreasson quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AIF's zone, Valto Virtala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarl Andreasson came out of the goal and Valto Virtala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Kilman hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Dadá do Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarl Andreasson having to make a save. AA Bełchatów's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
