The Original Wonderteam's Alek Candries got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Philip Boffin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Kirkpatrick in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alek Candries. Alek Candries might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rhys Dimmock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alek Candries ran back to his position shaking his head. Philip Boffin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Kirkpatrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes in the game Raymond Quintero did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Viktor Schukin. After 70 minutes Zamalek FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giovanny Verhengen who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Benjamin Specht heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Alek Candries's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rhys Dimmock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Jann Bernickow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Boffin having to interfere. Rhys Dimmock came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by The Original Wonderteam's Alek Candries. But to his dismay, Alek Candries quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The Original Wonderteam's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Mugurel Balaeț scored to the left of an out of position Philip Boffin, making the score, 4-3. Tytus Banaszak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Philip Boffin made a huge save. Philip Boffin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tytus Banaszak went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. Zamalek FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing The Original Wonderteam to leave the ground with a draw.
