After 8 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Tupper made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chicão Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Tupper in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gato Preto FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 17 played minutes Gato Preto FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Henrique. Raimundo Tupper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Chicão Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gato Preto FC's goalie and right to Silvio Navia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gato Preto FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Raimundo Tupper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Chicão Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Raimundo Tupper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Tupper in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chicão Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the game, Silvio Navia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gato Preto FC the free kick. Silvio Navia hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Dênis Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dênis Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Raimundo Tupper sped through Gato Preto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chicão Peixoto. 39 minutes into the game, Yan Zhi Chuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Chicão Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Silvio Navia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. In the 44th minute, Silvio Navia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Navia to maneuver through the defense.
Club Deportes Santa Cruz made a substitution. Marcus Edström replaced Raimundo Tupper. The wind increased when Marcus Edström made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Chicão Peixoto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Marcus Edström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chicão Peixoto. That made the score 0-7 after 55 minutes of play. Chicão Peixoto stood somewhat misplaced when Marcus Edström came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 59 minute. Marcus Edström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Peixoto having to interfere. Gato Preto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Marcus Edström scored to the left of an out of position Chicão Peixoto, making the score, 0-9. After 69 minutes, Marcus Edström made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abel Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Moreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Moreira hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Qu Zheng Song, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 0-13 became the score in the 82nd minute when Marcus Edström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cipriano Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Marcus Edström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. Yan Zhi Chuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yan Zhi Chuan ran back to his position shaking his head. When Cauan Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Gato Preto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan Abraão couldn't finish the play. Chicão Peixoto stood somewhat misplaced when Yan Zhi Chuan came free in front of goal and shot 0-16 to the left of him in the 95 minute.
