Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siricio Liotta came free, but Cris Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juarês Donato took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robin Steckamp got free with Flavio Vittori in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute of the match Italy got a corner. Wambalamba FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Italy's Siricio Liotta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cris Courtois in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Vianna in the 29th minute of play. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wambalamba FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cris Courtois quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cris Courtois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The supporters of Italy booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Przybyciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Wambalamba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 1-2.

52 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Cris Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 54th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Steckamp in the 55th minute of the match. Cris Courtois made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Cris Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's João Carlos Vianna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Juarês Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juarês Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Rolf Pilgren made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. In the 71st minute, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cris Courtois. Cris Courtois yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 74th minute, Juarês Donato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wambalamba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. 78 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Steckamp came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigfrido Auletta got free with Cris Courtois in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Finnman in the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Porziano Marchitelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Cris Courtois however easily saved by the left post. 84 minutes into the match, Porziano Marchitelli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cris Courtois, 3-4. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. When Wambalamba FC's Robin Steckamp in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italy's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rolf Pilgren hit a great ball. Wambalamba FC made a substitution. Léo Souto replaced João Carlos Vianna. After 91 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Pilgren. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cris Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Cris Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guiscardo Davide, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Italy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
