Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samir Hazlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Beyhan Gençoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. In the 3rd minute, one of ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK. Taha Günden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taha Günden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute of play forced ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's goalkeeper Taha Günden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 16th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hazım Başdoğan in the 17th minute of play. Taha Günden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Carneiro got free with Arnout Reekers in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hazım Başdoğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hazım Başdoğan in the 28th minute of play. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Patrick Carneiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrick Carneiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Taha Günden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 37th minute of the match. Taha Günden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK defense, David Eikelkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taha Günden. The ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taha Günden should have stopped the shot. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Taha Günden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Netherlands's Wim Wilmes to fire away a dangerous shot which Taha Günden despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Taha Günden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Carneiro to make the kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taha Günden. Taha Günden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Taha Günden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK from getting a goal against them. Taha Günden made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. David Eikelkamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taha Günden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Carneiro in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Taha Günden got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Carneiro in the 73rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Patrick Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taha Günden. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. In the 86th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's goalkeeper Taha Günden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Eddy Rüegsegger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beyhan Gençoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a free kick in the 96th minute. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
