In the 16th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Willig to maneuver through the defense. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Ekenberg got free with Keld Paulsen in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Mean Machine's zone, Lars Steen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Kleen came out of the goal and Lars Steen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casper Kleen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mean Machine's Casper Kleen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Mean Machine from getting a goal against them. Casper Kleen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 59th minute of the match. Kenn Skou kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Mean Machine's Casper Kleen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Steen in the 66th minute of play. Jonathan Sandström got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Emanuel Stål. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Bergqvist in the 78th minute of play. Bertram Svenningsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Kleen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 91st minute of play.
