In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Idalécio Carrasqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Jaime Eiró shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Odín Wallffiguer in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, SC Atabueira's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Idalécio Carrasqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Josué Campelo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
