Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iggi Kot in the 7th minute of the match. Iggi Kot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Willem-Jan Dittman who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to FC Gdansk36's Witomir Kochanowski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Witomir Kochanowski did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Wilson Amorim 12 minutes into the match. Adam Matysek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 16th minute of play. Adam Matysek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 17th minute of the match. Adam Matysek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Matysek was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Bastos. After a rather tough play, FC Gdansk36's Leon Kazczyk got a free kick in the 54th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Portugal's Felipe Barreto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adam Matysek. That made the score 1-2 after 61 minutes of play. Graciano Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Matysek having to interfere. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. 72 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Kochanowski came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iggi Kot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iggi Kot, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iggi Kot in the 86th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piotr Kozlowski replaced Iggi Kot. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Piotr Kozlowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Gdansk36's supporters rose to their feet, but Piotr Kozlowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Portugal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
