Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Felix Laget blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilija Skugor having to make a save. Felix Laget could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Ilija Skugor made a huge save. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Pierre Halter, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Felix Laget fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Skugor having to interfere. If Dinko Stankovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacques Greff kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Jean-Pierre Halter sent off a good shot on target. After 28 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Silvije Santek. 31 minutes into the match, Felix Laget notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Laget's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Ilija Skugor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Croatia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frédéric Courtial was slow to take the kick. During this time Deus Ex Machina's players had a chance to rest. Frédéric Courtial made a great header on Deus Ex Machina's corner, it was just that Croatia's Ilija Skugor managed to reach the ball for a save. When Benjamin Domazet fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croatia's protests and gave Benjamin Domazet a yellow card for diving instead. 43 minutes into the game, Jean-Pierre Halter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor. Jean-Pierre Halter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pierre Halter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Laget stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jean-Pierre Halter took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Felix Laget had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pierre Halter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Laget in the 67th minute of play. Felix Laget sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, Damir Pongrac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Croatia and the Deus Ex Machina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Damir Pongrac got a free kick in the 75th minute. Silvije Santek hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ilija Skugor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Laget's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Benjamin Domazet got a free kick in the 87th minute. Deus Ex Machina's Frédéric Courtial got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Laget might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilija Skugor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Laget ran back to his position shaking his head. Deus Ex Machina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
