Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Racing Miami Futbol Club's Rodney Hagen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Rodney Hagen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Truman Crockett in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. In the 11th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrod Leary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Caetano Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarrod Leary was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Truman Crockett scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 2-0. Jarrod Leary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes in the game Dave Sylvester did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. In the 23rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrod Leary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 3-0. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jarrod Leary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarrod Leary was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarrod Leary. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Jarrod Leary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Caetano Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 44 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Jarrod Leary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Felipe Barreto sped through Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jarrod Leary. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Truman Crockett to make the kick off. Jarrod Leary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 56th minute of play. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Racing Miami Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. The corner led Portugal's Graciano Coutinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Jarrod Leary despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Viriato Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Miranda. Chance Adams might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chance Adams ran back to his position shaking his head. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chance Adams in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Chance Adams came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Chance Adams managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Chance Adams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chance Adams. But to his dismay, Chance Adams quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Truman Crockett in the 75th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 84th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jarrod Leary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Felipinho Amorim scored to the left of an out of position Jarrod Leary, making the score, 4-4.
