Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Luix in the 12th minute. Damian Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 16th minute of the match. Gustavo Scarpa's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Scarpa helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes São Miguel do Oeste.SC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Scarpa. Damian Natanael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Delmar Luix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Delmar Luix really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Delmar Luix took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. In the 30th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Natanael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in São Miguel do Oeste.SC's zone, Takacs Tibor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Natanael came out of the goal and Takacs Tibor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Natanael having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Natanael was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Takacs Tibor came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takacs Tibor couldn't finish the play. In the 44th match minute, São Miguel do Oeste.SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Txordon to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmar Luix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hungary's Vörös Henrik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Damian Natanael in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Balazs Lajos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Damian Natanael 64 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Damian Natanael in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Damian Natanael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save São Miguel do Oeste.SC from getting a goal against them.
