Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hetem Paloka having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Polonia Division's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Hetem Paloka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel had great luck who in the 23rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Geovânio Meireles from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 25th minute of play forced Polonia Division's goalkeeper Hetem Paloka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hetem Paloka. The supporters of Hungary booed when Polonia Division was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erando Palla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vibar Vërçuni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovânio Meireles's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The Polonia Division fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 74 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
