Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Belcho Hlebarov took the kick off in the first half of the match. Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Dostal in the 3rd minute of play. When Lyuboslav Popinski came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the ЦСКА fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lyuboslav Popinski couldn't finish the play. When Bohumir Kohout fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Bohumir Kohout a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohumir Kohout to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match ЦСКА got a corner. Czech Republic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivelin Ananiev ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ivelin Ananiev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vavrinec Holub quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Jilek in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anzhelo Gerushin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dalimil Charvat hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Belcho Hlebarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vavrinec Holub having to make a save. 58 minutes into the game, Svatopluk Capek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ЦСКА the free kick. The supporters of ЦСКА booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svatopluk Capek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes, ЦСКА's Vasil Yosifov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ЦСКА reached it. When ЦСКА's Belcho Hlebarov in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Czech Republic's goalie prevented a goal. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belcho Hlebarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belcho Hlebarov might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vavrinec Holub. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Belcho Hlebarov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Belcho Hlebarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Jilek to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alan Rezek hit a great ball. Czech Republic's Svatopluk Capek got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Svatopluk Capek off the ground. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Svatopluk Capek got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the ЦСКА players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
