The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pierluigi Buffon came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pierluigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 13th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by León Ponzio with Noel Hargrave as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. Narciso Noe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Claes having to make a save. In the 25th match minute, KaoS Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by León Ponzio to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Albuquerque received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casper Claes came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacob Albuquerque slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 28th minute. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute Sander Dermaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Lluis Companys sent off a good shot on target. Pierluigi Buffon came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Albuquerque in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Albuquerque in the 55th minute of play. Noel Hargrave made a great header on KaoS Futbol Club's corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 61st match minute, KaoS Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Kaczucha to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match, Edward Vanderstraeten got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pierluigi Buffon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 64 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's Narciso Noe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierluigi Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Pierluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Pierluigi Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Lebas in the 88th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierluigi Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Laurens Vandamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
