When Célio da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Febre Amarela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio da Cunha couldn't finish the play. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Peres in the 24th minute of play. The throw-in from Quinn Holmes in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Febre Amarela's Tomasino Quiroz. Febre Amarela's Luís Fernando Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micah Macdonald in the 31st minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Kyle Cox made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Issac Dawson in the 54th minute of play forced Febre Amarela's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Célio da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Peres in the 62nd minute of play. Micah Macdonald hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Lenílson Peres put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Khalid Kennedy. 76 minutes into the match, Kyle Cox notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Febre Amarela's Luís Fernando Almeida. Luís Fernando Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cooper Thompson charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cooper Thompson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The England players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Febre Amarela from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
