If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Onyx's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Domarecki came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herbert Gargasz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Zdzislaw Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 21st minute of the match. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 22nd minute. A well done corner resulted in Takacs Tibor drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Onyx's goalkeeper. Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Onyx's Maksymilian Topolski got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 47th minute Jurand Jaraczeski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wojciech Barycz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Jaraczeski in the 55th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Jaraczeski, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Zdzislaw Domarecki however easily saved by the left post. Major Barna was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Zdzislaw Domarecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
