Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After some careless play in the Black horses defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andulis Cerīgais. The Black horses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andulis Cerīgais should have stopped the shot. Andulis Cerīgais came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match Valentīns Vitmanis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andulis Cerīgais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Valentīns Vitmanis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Andulis Cerīgais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Indris Bindulis's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Indris Bindulis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Black horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Indris Bindulis to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes, Ervīns Kiberkalns mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black horses and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Black horses's Ervīns Kiberkalns got a free kick in the 31st minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andulis Cerīgais having to interfere. When Ervīns Kiberkalns was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. In the 36th minute, Ervīns Kiberkalns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andulis Cerīgais having to make a save. In the 39th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andulis Cerīgais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ričards Padoms during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Black horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ričards Padoms to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andulis Cerīgais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Andulis Cerīgais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andulis Cerīgais. That made the score 0-6 after 54 minutes of play. Andulis Cerīgais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Wim Wilmes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Netherlands's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Andulis Cerīgais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 66th minute of play. Black horses's Andulis Cerīgais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andulis Cerīgais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andulis Cerīgais having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andulis Cerīgais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Black horses fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
