With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elder de Toledo saved GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder de Toledo was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. The supporters of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elder de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Denmark's Olav Graversen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miroslav Valjak in the 20 minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Denmark's Elder de Toledo threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chris Nygaard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludomir Betonowy in the 75th minute of the match. Elder de Toledo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chris Nygaard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 80 minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 96th minute. Denmark's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
