Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Santiago Mino made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Carolo Rozarius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Joey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palermo's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Eufemio during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Eufemio. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Hungary's Takacs Tibor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Joey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szekeres Tamas to maneuver through the defense. Carolo Rozarius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Palermo's Alfredo Joey got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Alfredo Joey in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 64th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Chaime in the 68th minute of play. Takacs Tibor kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jhonny Del Fierro in the 90th minute of play. Alfredo Joey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 94th minute. Aquiles Eufemio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Palermo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
