Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antonio Fioriti kicked off to start the match. Álvaro Perpiñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sporting Burgas booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Tuitert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 12th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, Sporting Burgas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ke Xiong Chen to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Perpiñán. Sporting Burgas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Meesters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Perpiñán saved Sporting Burgas from getting behind. Antonio Fioriti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Álvaro Perpiñán didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 27thth minute of the game Antonio Fioriti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Fioriti in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 32nd minute of play. Álvaro Perpiñán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 38th minute of the match. Antonio Fioriti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Sporting Burgas's Mac Aron got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Perpiñán having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Álvaro Perpiñán made a huge save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Fioriti in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Perpiñán showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cedro Pantoja kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Lars Meesters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Meesters took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álvaro Perpiñán. Álvaro Perpiñán dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Álvaro Perpiñán came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 76th minute, Gust Ennemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Álvaro Perpiñán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Sporting Burgas's Mac Aron got a free kick in the 80th minute. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Sporting Burgas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After 93 minutes, Oskars Junco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Burgas and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sporting Burgas's Oskars Junco got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán didn't even have to move. 97 minutes into the game, Antonio Fioriti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
