The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Song Di Xu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Πυργετός Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 7th play minute Song Di Xu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnout Reekers. 2-0. In the 11th minute Song Di Xu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Song Di Xu's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Thanos Kalikis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 15th minute of play forced Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Lucho Putin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Πυργετός Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Lucho Putin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Moura hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucho Putin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Πυργετός Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deka Mardiansyah didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 27th minute of play forced Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Lucho Putin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Thanos Kalikis sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Song Di Xu made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Song Di Xu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Πυργετός Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Song Di Xu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 played minutes Πυργετός Fc got a freekick which was hit by Nurtekin Sami. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lucho Putin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Song Di Xu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Klein in the 42nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Netherlands booed when Πυργετός Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Klein didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Lucho Putin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Song Di Xu might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Song Di Xu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Πυργετός Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Song Di Xu in the 69th minute of play. Thanos Kalikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucho Putin. Lucho Putin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. In the 90th minute, Song Di Xu made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. 94 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucho Putin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3.
