Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Félix Briceño got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Eduardo Holguin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Robert Chapuis managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Chapuis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Holguin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes, Ivan Echeto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Suscal and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Ivan Echeto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Holguin saved CD Suscal from getting behind. The supporters of CD Suscal booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camille Baume didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, CD Suscal's Maxime Durand threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Félix Briceño, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eduardo Holguin came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Frank Peletier. But to his dismay, Frank Peletier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 0-4 became the score in the 30th minute when Frank Peletier elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 35 minutes of play, France's Robert Chapuis made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Holguin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eduardo Holguin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 41st minute of the match. Eduardo Holguin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 44th minute of play. CD Suscal's Eduardo Holguin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Dupuy in the 48th minute of play forced CD Suscal's goalkeeper Eduardo Holguin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. Caicedo Gorvea hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, France's David Barbier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Félix Briceño hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CD Suscal! When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Camille Baume sped through CD Suscal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo Holguin. When Camille Baume came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camille Baume couldn't finish the play. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Eduardo Holguin made a huge save. After having played for 75 minutes, Camille Baume managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camille Baume was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Frank Peletier could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Eduardo Holguin however easily saved by the left post. Ivan Echeto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Eduardo Holguin managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when France's Frank Peletier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When France's Frank Peletier in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Suscal's goalie prevented a goal. After 88 minutes of play, France's Frank Peletier made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Holguin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Eduardo Holguin made a huge save. Frank Peletier's late challenge caught a CD Suscal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Peletier helped the player get up and apologised. When the match was over France could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CD Suscal throughout the match.
