River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 5th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Funes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 16th minute of play. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 17th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Omar Toledo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Barovero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Funes to make the kick off. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endura Abechuco in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Enrique Rabellino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Funes might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Ascaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponciano Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pau Herrero in the 87th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Ruiz in the 88th minute of play. River CBBA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Sergio Ruiz scored to the left of an out of position Marcelo Barovero, making the score, 0-4. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
