Tanek Nakoneczny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Toledo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Nakoneczny saved Phoenix Fireball SE from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lopez Arrillaga in the 25th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lopez Arrillaga in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, David Aranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 38th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Toledo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanek Nakoneczny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Fireball SE's Kornél Ács got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Fireball SE's zone, Omar Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanek Nakoneczny came out of the goal and Omar Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Spain booed when Phoenix Fireball SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Donecea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gabriel Ascaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lopez Arrillaga went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Phoenix Fireball SE's Gábor Takács was substituted for Jiang De Yi. Phoenix Fireball SE's Lóránt Hoffman was substituted for Lopez Arrillaga. 66 minutes into the match, Lóránt Hoffman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Spain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lóránt Hoffman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Tanek Nakoneczny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Aranda in the 75th minute of the match. Phoenix Fireball SE's Tanek Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Lóránt Hoffman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Fireball SE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. 86 minutes into the match, Carles Cherro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tanek Nakoneczny, 5-4. Gabriel Ascaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lóránt Hoffman went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-4 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the game, Spain's Carles Cherro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tanek Nakoneczny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-5.
