Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vito Leite made the kick off which started today's match. Juan Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Juan Alvarenga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 6th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Leite in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Cöpacabana FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juan Alvarenga in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Dumitru Lucaci took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. Nimród Szőcs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. In the 27th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Talha İstanbul in the 27th minute. In the 35th minute Cöpacabana FC were awarded a corner. Talha İstanbul went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Cöpacabana FC's Tales Loureiro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Dumitru Lucaci threw the ball into play from the sideline. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Juan Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Juan Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes Cöpacabana FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Lars Meesters made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Cöpacabana FC's Juan Alvarenga managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Vito Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Juan Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Juan Alvarenga however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cöpacabana FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Talha İstanbul hit a great ball. With a little luck, Cöpacabana FC's Juan Alvarenga got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes in the game, Lars Meesters fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Juan Alvarenga having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 75th minute of play forced Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Juan Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Juan Alvarenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Lucaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
