With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Akil İslam tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertram Svenningsen to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Ali Atıf Lebib tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Pehlivanköy's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Mustafa Barış Çile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Barış Çile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Atıf Lebib to strike the kick off in the second half. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Mustafa Barış Çile to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Mustafa Gurbet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to Pehlivanköy getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ali Atıf Lebib hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pehlivanköy's zone, Mikkel Wulff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Barış Çile came out of the goal and Mikkel Wulff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Ali Atıf Lebib's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Bertram Svenningsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa Barış Çile made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Ali Atıf Lebib put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Keld Paulsen. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mustafa Barış Çile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
