After some careless play in the Germany defense, Nuralp Eracar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruperto Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Mark Bållström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mark Bållström really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Nuralp Eracar took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Natalio Heriberto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Mark Bållström came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Florida United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Bållström couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Nuralp Eracar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Heriberto in the 63rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuralp Eracar, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Saverio Gaitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Ruperto Amato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Gabriel Ibar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 93 minutes, Adrian Dreifuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Florida United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Florida United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
