Ysidro Mallen came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Igor Gilabert in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. Igor Gilabert hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Chris Nygaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ysidro Mallen. Estudiantes de la Plata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th minute, Gaspar Oxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Bertram Svenningsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysidro Mallen was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Kenn Skou got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Larpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikkel Wulff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ysidro Mallen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Flavio Larpe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Ysidro Mallen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st minute, Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 75th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ysidro Mallen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Chris Nygaard went to the cornerflag to take it. Chris Nygaard in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ysidro Mallen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ysidro Mallen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 88th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Chris Nygaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
