After some careless play in the TAQUARI FC defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Zonta. The TAQUARI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Zonta should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Zonta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Zonta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 22 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Zonta. TAQUARI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Zonta having to make a save. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Maicon Baiano got a free kick in the 26th minute. Sílvio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siebe Michiels, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Sílvio Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jano Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Belgium's Siebe Michiels made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Zonta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Belgium were winning 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Zonta. Edward Vanderstraeten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Sílvio Zonta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save TAQUARI FC from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Zonta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 73rd playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Maicon Baiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Maicon Baiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Sílvio Zonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. The TAQUARI FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgium were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
