Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 2nd minute Jerry Dhanabalan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Carballo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Real Juniors's Christian Carballo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 12th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Javi Pinola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Juniors and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Netherlands made a substitution. Bart Zomerhuis replaced Gijsbert ter Kruimer. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Real Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javi Pinola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Carballo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Efe Suheyl's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Real Juniors's Christian Carballo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 28th minute of play. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Efe Suheyl showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Bart Zomerhuis came free, but Christian Carballo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bart Zomerhuis might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Carballo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bart Zomerhuis ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Carballo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Real Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javi Pinola to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Carballo. Real Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roland Redondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Bart Zomerhuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Efe Suheyl to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Real Juniors's Javi Pinola got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 53rd minute of play forced Real Juniors's goalkeeper Christian Carballo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 57th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Dhanabalan in the 66th minute of play. 66 minutes in the game, Jerry Dhanabalan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerry Dhanabalan in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Roland Redondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 69th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Christian Carballo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Roland Redondo made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Bart Zomerhuis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Juniors succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Netherlands had controlled the match.
