When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Chris Nygaard put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Silvestre Lidon. Silvestre Lidon came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen. But to his dismay, Bertram Svenningsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 19 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. NeW York CitY CopS's Silvestre Lidon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 23 minutes of play, Denmark's Lars Steen made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Lidon was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was beautiful to see NeW York CitY CopS's Alejo Beltran in action when he in the 36th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 39 minutes into the match, NeW York CitY CopS's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Silvestre Lidon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Lidon came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen. But to his dismay, Bertram Svenningsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 47th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Lidon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Enrique Hrabina fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NeW York CitY CopS's protests and gave Enrique Hrabina a yellow card for diving instead. Enrique Hrabina kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Lidon. NeW York CitY CopS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. In the 64th minute, Jonathan Ilazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Lidon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvestre Lidon made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. Silvestre Lidon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvestre Lidon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With an all-out effort, Denmark's Silvestre Lidon threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bertram Svenningsen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91stth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NeW York CitY CopS's Silvestre Lidon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, NeW York CitY CopS's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Silvestre Lidon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NeW York CitY CopS's Silvestre Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 94th minute of play. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvestre Lidon narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
