Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Samuel Galdes made a great header on Sliema Dragons FC's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samuel Galdes took the corner. In the 12th minute Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner. Samuel Galdes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hungary's goalie and right to Fabian Borg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hungary's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mike Salamone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 14th minute of the match. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mike Salamone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neil Deguara hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mike Salamone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Salamone. Mike Salamone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 minutes, Fabian Borg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sliema Dragons FC and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mike Salamone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bakos Endre during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bakos Endre hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Bailey in the 38th minute. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Leo Bailey sent off a good shot on target. Mike Salamone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ian Depasquale kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Bailey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Desira in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Jurgen Montalto. Sliema Dragons FC's Christian Scalpello was substituted for Leon Desira. Jurgen Montalto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Mike Salamone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Hungary's Major Barna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mike Salamone. Mike Salamone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Mike Salamone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Mike Salamone in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sliema Dragons FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Salamone got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mike Salamone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Takacs Tibor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
