The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With an all-out effort, Portugal's Fred Bonk threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viriato Moura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 59 minutes, Rasmus Moland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kjønstad BF and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Kjønstad BF's Fred Bonk got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Alsvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
