Spain's Jon Cubero suffered a concussion in the 2nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Maksymilian Solibieda charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maksymilian Solibieda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Jon Cubero. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Wroclaw's Maksymilian Solibieda got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Omar Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Twierdza Wroclaw's Tony Kroneder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 9th minute of play. Spain's David Aranda got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Twierdza Wroclaw getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Maksymilian Solibieda hit a great ball. Tony Kroneder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Aranda in the 14th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maksymilian Solibieda in the 19th minute. Twierdza Wroclaw were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emil Zachemski took the corner. Anfilogino Pantani was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 32nd minute Maksymilian Solibieda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maksymilian Solibieda got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Twierdza Wroclaw's Emil Zachemski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Ascaso. Gabriel Ascaso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Santiago Sartori in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Twierdza Wroclaw's Eugeniusz Werra. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maksymilian Solibieda to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Twierdza Wroclaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugeniusz Werra to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Maksymilian Solibieda came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Omar Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Twierdza Wroclaw made a substitution. Stefan Lesiecki replaced Maksymilian Solibieda. Twierdza Wroclaw's Lisandro Cordareo was substituted for Roch Wojno. 59 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Cordareo came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Kroneder made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Omar Toledo sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 65 minutes, Stefan Lesiecki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Twierdza Wroclaw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Lesiecki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Twierdza Wroclaw defense, Omar Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Kroneder. The Twierdza Wroclaw fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Kroneder should have stopped the shot. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. When Emil Zachemski came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Twierdza Wroclaw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Zachemski couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute Lisandro Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Twierdza Wroclaw's Tony Kroneder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aranda in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 81st minute of play forced Twierdza Wroclaw's goalkeeper Tony Kroneder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Cordareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Zachemski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Kroneder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carles Cherro in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Stefan Lesiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match, Carles Cherro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tony Kroneder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
