Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erubiel Urtats's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Hulberto to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

In the 54th minute of the match, Edward Vanderstraeten tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Belgium booed when ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Monclús in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Sander Dermaut got a free kick in the 91st minute. Mei Jian De blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Claes having to make a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
